South on U.S. 21, after approximately 15 miles look for Hunting Island Drive on the left. Follow the sigsn for the visitors center.

Admission: $4/per person.

Hours of Operation: winter 6:00 – 6:00, summer 6:00 – 9:00, year-round.

Port Royal Boardwalk Park is open all year from dawn until dusk.

Yellow-crowned Night-heron, Wood Stork, Gull-billed, Sandwich Terns, Least Tern, Black Skimmer, Painted Bunting.

Winter

Red-throated Loon,  Common Loon, Horned Grebe, Northern Gannet, Greater Scaup, White-winged Black Scooter, Surf Scooter, Bald Eagle, Peregrine Falcon, Saltmarsh Sparrow, Nelson’s Sharp-tailed Sparrow.
