Lake Murray Dam Park is located near Saluda Shoals Park. This small park is operated by South Carolina Electric and Gas, and is mostly comprised of a boat ramp, parking lot and picnic area.
Lake Murray Dam Park is one of three areas that make up the Columbia Area, the other two are Saluda Shoals Park, and Congaree Creek Heritage Preserve.
The best birding is done here in April/May, and September/October.
